Gospel Ministries Center has a vision and passion for reaching this world with the Gospel. This applies to countries the world over, and right here in Grand Junction. As with our focus on children’s ministry, youth are no exception to this rule.

U-Turn is our youth group, so named for our belief that it is critical for the youth of this generation to make a U-Turn from the standard course of this world and turn to Jesus.

We are not about going with the flow, as the ‘flow’ in the modern day is away from Christ. It is our mission and passion to reach into the lives of teens and young adults with the power of the word of God.

We believe 2 things: Christ is the most important choice any young person can ever make, and it is our responsibility to lead them to Christ; and we can have some fun while doing that!. U-Turn is a young, dynamic group that experiences God in a real way, that relates to our members in real ways.

We meet regularly on Wednesdays at 6:30, and hold monthly activities, including events like Paintball, Malldo, Video scavenger hunts, and whatever else we can come up with to have fun.

During our weekly service, don’t expect a rock concert and video, we come here to worship God! A typical service includes worship music, an off-the-wall activity or object lesson, time hearing the preaching of the Word, and an altar call to converse with our mighty God.

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus
